Fun at the park!

We went up to New Plymouth over easter weekend, on Saturday the weather was pretty nice so Brittany and I took the kids to the park, it was a lot of fun. Kaleb wasn't too sure about everything at first, but I think he will really like it once we start going more often. It was nice to be able to get out into a little bit of sunshine, but then it was no fun to come home to a ton of snow still on the ground and gloomy clouds all around :( I am excited for the warm weather to get here!

It's been way too long

So last night I went and played soccer, it was a lot of fun, except for the fact that I haven't done anything like that for 5 years! Yeah really, I haven't been too active since I played soccer in high school. I have gone running and stuff like that every now and then, but to run and move like that for 40 minutes is killer! I survived, though today I am very stiff and sore. So I have decided that I should go running more often to get myself in a little better shape so I am not huffing and puffing after just a couple minutes :) We'll see if I can actually motivate myself to really do it though, wish me luck!

This is Jeff looking for my shin guards for me, I wasn't sure where they were, or if I even still had them, so he was up in this tiny space above the bathroom looking through all the boxes for me, and he found them!

Another year older...

It's true, I am now 23. Yesterday my dad took me out to lunch at Quizno's, it was yummy! Mom and Dad came out in the afternoon and brought me a birthday cake and a new jacket. Kaleb enjoyed trying to smash the cake up, it was pretty funny. Then last night Jeff took me out, we went to Iron Gate Grill and did their date night special, 2 dinners, 2 drinks, and 2 movie passes, it was also very yummy. Then we went bowling- we hadn't gone for a long time, it was fun, even though I didn't do so very hot, I think I might have gotten above 60 :) While we were waiting for a lane we got a fun picture "sketched" of us. Then today my mom and dad took us out to lunch at Hamilton's, it was really good too- I am stuffed now though! Jeff got me a new computer chair! I think the one that we have been using is like 100 years old or something, the wheels are always falling off and then you tip over, and you can't lean against the back because it leans clear down, helps with good posture I suppose-I have been working on putting it together but it is tougher than I thought...but I got it put together all by myself, well okay, Kaleb helped out too! Anyway, thanks everyone for a fun birthday!

Kaleb has been sick since Monday :( He threw up like 4 times that day, then again on Wednesday morning and then again at like 3:00 this morning... poor kid, I don't know what is wrong with him. He had his 9 month appointment today he weighs 23.5 pounds, 85 percentile, and is 29 1/2 inches long, 88 percentile. He is a big boy! He also has a tooth, and our nephew Bret thinks that another one is coming in too- wow! I didn't think he would get them this soon. Considering that he has been sick and getting teeth, he has actually been a pretty happy camper, I am lucky to have such a good baby!

9 Months!

WOW! 9 months already-so crazy! Kaleb is a crawling pro now, exploring everywhere, pulling himself up on everything, walking along the furniture, he is always on the go. It was tricky to try to get a good photo of him today because he kept trying to come and get the camera from me.

Happy Helper

This is Kaleb's new favorite pastime... it is so funny when you put him down and he crawls as fast as he can to the dryer all excited and giggly! He likes to put his whole upper half clear inside and look around and lay on the laundry, and of course he likes to pull it out too :)
