I think it is so cute how much Kaleb loves Jenna, and she too loves him you can already tell.

Nurses Maid returns

Unwanted. Uninvited. Unwelcome. It had been over a year, until today. Poor Kaleb, I felt so bad. However, I think I cried more than he did. Luckily Jeff works close by so he was able to run home to the rescue. Though I have done it before, I couldn't take care of it this time- I didn't want him to hurt anymore than he already was. Jeff is stronger than me and did a great job. I don't know why it is called a nurses maid, but it is a dislocated elbow and this makes number 4 for my little man. We didn't think that Jeff had been successful at getting it back in so we were preparing to take him over to the Dr., when Jeff went in the other room Kaleb jumped up and started acting just fine! We watched him for a bit and he wasn't favoring it or acting hurt at all. So he went with Jeff back to the farm for a little while until lunch, like nothing ever happened. I guess we aren't out of the woods with his elbows after all... :( He seems to take after his mother in the joint department, hopefully this will be the worst of it for him- my heart can't take it!

20 Minutes a day

Kaleb loves to read! This afternoon I put him down for a nap, I heard him get up and play a little. When I went to check on him a bit later, this is what I found... he already loves to read in bed!


Then later I had opened a drawer to put a lid away, he reopened it and climbed in and read my cookbooks while I finished the dishes :) Such a funny boy!

Sunday morning was a frustrating one. Trying to get 2 fussy kids and my over tired self ready, considering just throwing in the towel for the day and go back to bed, Jeff got home and helped me, left the house at 11:01, going to Sacrament meeting with a bad attitude, grumpy kids during the meeting, making it through, eating Kaleb's snacks while nursing Jenna because I missed breakfast, an awesome RS lesson from Natalie, Kaleb stayed in nursery by himself finding a snack for lunch, and then this....LIFE IS GOOD

8 weeks

She is just so stinkin cute! I weighed her the other day and she weighs 10 pounds! She always snuggles with me so good, and smiles ans talks to me!

Blessing Day

We blessed Jenna yesterday, what a great day! Jeff gave her a beautiful blessing, I am so grateful that he is able to do this for our kids. Jenna wore my blessing dress that my grandma made for me, that was really special. Afterward we had some delicious cheesy broccoli soup and taco soup with lots of family, it was kinda crazy but lots of fun still.
