Grass!

Last Saturday we got grass! My mom heard an ad on the radio about sod for 1/2 price so I jumped on it! I am so excited to have some grass now, we only did the front part for now but it is much better than the weed patch it has been for the past two years!

Contortionist

Lately Kaleb likes to try and fit himself into small places to hang out, it is really funny. This is what he was doing tonight.

This kid is such a riot, he just had to be in there!

Too much fun

We decided to get a trip in before Jeff's parents leave on their mission, so we went to Lake Powell and the Grand Canyon. It was a lot of fun. Luckily, thanks to family, we only had to stay in a hotel one night so it made for a more affordable trip! I have a bunch of pictures to show off the good times :)

Out for a Sunday drive in Bullfrog

Playing in the water

I think Kaleb had just as much fun at the parks we played out as he did anywhere!

Playing pee-a-boo behind the tree

Jeff would lean back and Kaleb (usually doesn't hold on) would grab his mouth-so funny

We accidentally left the eggs on the counter at Chris' and Kaleb found them, he had a lot of fun breaking the shells apart

Riding on the ferry from Bullfrog to Halls Crossing

Fam pictures

Coyte just running back and forth across the road

Pretty sunset

Kaleb and daddy

Watch tower on the south rim and the view

When the moon was first coming up, it looked like it was a fire, because we could only see bits of it from far away!

This kid has no fear, he wasn't too happy when we wouldn't let him climb the fence :)

Pretty much his favorite spot to ride

But then of course he would want me when we had to go uphill or up the stairs!

Honestly, is he not just the cutest kid you have ever seen?!

Little stair master, he loved to walk up and down the stairs himself

When Kaleb is quite and not around recently, this is usually where we can find him :)

He climbs up on the toilet, then up onto the tank so that he can reach the toothbrushes on the counter-funny boy!

Last week we did a TON of corn! Kaleb liked to feed the husks to the cows, one of them licked him right across the forehead- he wasn't too sure about that, so he moved down to some different ones. He loves to wear his Select Sires hat that is just like his daddy's, he is already such a little farm boy, the cows don't bother him one bit- he always tries to climb out into the corral with them and chase them around saying "moooo"! He always tries to get Jeff to take him with him, he loves to drive the tractors and ride in the trucks. Today we went out to cut sedan grass with him, he was fixing the swather when we got there and Kaleb just got right down there, grabbed the wrench and starting fixing away!

Cast your vote

What do you think, can these outfits be unisex or are they too girlie? The baby's first Thanksgiving one has little stripped pants that come with it- I think they are adorable, but can a boy wear them?

Have a laugh

He swears a bit in this one but it is funny! I haven't seen any of his other ones but have heard he is pretty crude, so if you go to look at more be careful!

BALLS

We went up to Idaho last weekend to see new baby Kadence. The wal-mart in Jerome is a good stopping point to have a little break and let Kaleb run around to stretch his legs a bit. This kid absolutely LOVES balls! He always finds them in the store and runs to them saying " Ball, ball, ball, ball..." We got him a ball down to let him play with and he bounced it around a bit, but them kept pointing to the other ones, so my dad lifted him up to see which one he wanted, and he tried to climb in with all the balls! He cracks me up. This is the only pic of the whole trip I have right now because the camera batteries died right after this picture. I took some with Adelyns camera so I will post those when she has a spare second to email them to me :)
Kadence is so tiny! It was fun to go and see her, but now I want my baby to come sooner! I'm sure it will come soon enough though.

I had a Dr. appt. today, the Dr. was stuck in surgery so I saw the NP instead. At my last appt. I was 24 1/2 weeks and he said I measured a little bit big, 27 weeks. Today I am 28 1/2 weeks, and she said that I was measuring right on. I swear I grew quite a bit in the last 4 weeks though! Maybe the just measure a bit differently- oh well. Now I start going in every 2 weeks- I can't believe I am to that point already! It really has been going by pretty fast-which I am so grateful for!
