We recently moved to Twin Falls, Idaho. Jeff took a job in Jerome, which is about 12 miles from here. He will be a loan officer for Farm Service Agency. It was a big big BIG decision to make, after lots of talking, prayers, and temple visits we feel we made the right one for our little family. I will be able to stay home with the kids, we will still have health insurance, Jeff will be around in the evenings, weekends, holidays (we don't know what we are going to do with all this time together!) It was hard to leave the farm, but we are only about 2 1/2 hours away so if Jeff ever gets too homesick for his cows, we can zip on down there for a bit :)
We are pretty well settled in, thanks to Adelyn and Jeremy who stayed and helped A TON in getting things unpacked! I think Kaleb mostly understands...he still asks about our house in Newton, if we are going to live there when we go back and if we packed our house with us, but for the most part he is adjusting great. Jenna has not had it quite so easy, however. She is convinced that this is Jeremy's' house. He took a couple naps in our room the first couple of days, and they were all here, so she must think we came to visit them....but they have gone back to their house and she still insists that we are at Jeremy's! She is getting a little better, a bit longer and I'm sure it will sink in to her that this is our house now!
I didn't really take many pictures...Adelyn has more on her phone that I will have to get....but here is what we have for now!
4 out of the 6 grand kids piled on Grandma and Grandpa watching a show
The kids thought it was pretty cool watching the garbage truck (simple minds.....) ;)
I thought this was funny because Kaleb was having Jenna read to him :)
Every day the LOVE to go sit at the top of the stairs and watch for daddy to come home!
Too cute
