Lack of sleep takes its toll...

So lately (seems like forever) I have not been able to sleep well at all. I am either lying in bed awake or having some pretty psycho dreams (thank you pregnancy). Last night I was beat. I was sitting here at the computer and finally at about 10:30 PM I felt like I was going to fall asleep on the desk so I decided to go to bed. I crawl in and get all comfy-and just lay there. Jeff cam to bed about 30 or so minutes later and yep, I'm still awake. I finally dozed off for a bit just to wake up several (thousand I am sure) times through out the night. I woke up at 5:30 AM feeling cold. Not wanting to reach out from under the sheet I thought I'd just wait until Jeff got up at 5:45 AM to go move pipe and have him put the blanket on me :) Next thing I know it is 5:47 AM and Jeff is gone, somehow I managed to fall back to sleep, sleep through his alarm clock and him leaving, and wake up again right afterwards. I was telling Jeff about this on the way home tonight. When I had finished my story, he gave me a funny look for a second, then says: I got up and milked cows at 4:30 this morning. Me: huh, then who was in bed with me at 5:30? That makes it even funnier.
Jeff: yes it does (laughing at me like he married a complete psycho!)

I could have sworn he was still in bed with me when I woke up at 5:30, but I guess it was just a figment of my imagination!

Idaho

Grandpa Evans passed away last week. He has been in our family for about 14 years now, and he will really be missed. We all loved him and loved having him around. It is bitter sweet because we are sad that he is gone, but at the same time he doesn't have to worry about his deteriorating health any more.
We went up to Idaho on Tuesday last week to spend some time with family, the funeral was on Friday, and it was really nice. It is good to know that he is in a better place now, no more suffering or illness for him. I know he is watching over us all and am glad that I know that we will be able to see him again in time.

It was kind of a long week, but I am glad we were there. Kaleb had a hard time for the first couple days until his daddy got there Thursday night (okay, okay I was having a hard time without him there too :))- he sure loves his dad! He got to the point where he seemed to really like being around his cousins a lot. Him and Samantha were so funny together they have a love-hate relationship. It was fun to watch them interact together.

He liked to climb up the slide and the slide back down on his tummy

Sam and Kaleb playing in the truck together

On Saturday we went over to Ontario and took the kids swimming, it was lots of fun.

We went to taco bell after swimming, but Kaleb couldn't wait for the food, he decided to munch on his toes first!

Taking a break in Twin Falls on the way home. We stopped and ate at the Outback (I love their bread-sinner I know :)) Then we walked over to the bridge and overlook to stretch our legs a bit and give Kaleb a rest from his car seat- he was having a lot of fun and didn't want to leave.

Workin hard...Hardly workin

Kaleb 'helpin' out in the garage with Papa, too busy to stop for a picture!

Time to take a break...all that tough work wore them out!
