One week

So the past week has almost been a blur! It has been great though!I just need little Jenna to get her days and nights turned around! I can't hardly get her to wake up and eat during the day, and then at night she gets up every 2-3 hours!

Kaleb crawled into her cradle with her today, funny boy. Later I put her in his crib so that he couldn't get to her while I dried my hair- and wouldn't ya know it, the kid climbed into his crib! What is in store for us next!?
Alan came and snapped a family pic for us, all in our aggie outfits!

Bath Time

We gave Jenna her first at home bath today, well sponge bath. Kaleb, of course, was such a great helper!

All clean, dressed, and SO ready to eat!

P.S.

It's Erin again. (You're all so relieved I know! Even though Jeff makes me laugh) I just thought I'd add a little bit that Jeff left out. Jenna weighed 7 lbs. 3 oz. and was 19 inches long. She seems so tiny! Even smaller than Kaleb was. Except her head, they both had 14" heads! Gotta have room for all those brains! She is such a gorgeous girl! I may be a little biased, but I know you all agree too :)

WE'RE HOME

Yes we are finally home. You may ask "Why is Jeff making this post?" The answer is pretty simple. I'm addicted, so I guess Erin will just have to find something else to do with her time. Yah, like I can have a coop that easy. Everyone is fine. Jenna Lee still hasn't decided to eat (Anorexia). Man these women are difficult. Just kidding dear; All the weirdo's that blog surf can tell I'm getting as well.

One day stay in the hospital. If our stay was any shorter it would have classified as an out patient procedure. Not that I am complaining, lousy hotel doesn't even give me a key to get in the side door.

We had many visits and gifts during our stay and we thank you all for the support.

We had a nice visit (not that the rest of you weren't nice) from a nameless cute couple from Cache Junction, that are expecting. They helped us name our baby....well ....kinda. Anyway it was interesting to see their curiosity/terror of having a baby, and I realized how different we are now from where we were not even a full 2 years ago.

Anyway I'm sure no one cares about my ramblings so I'll post a few pics and let Erin regain control of the all mighty blog.

I always have to check out the hands and the feet.
I didn't label them I hope you can tell the difference.
Her first "real" outfit to go home in thanks gp&np.
When we finally arrived home Kerry(Jeff's Sister) brought Kaleb over and they all took turns holding her.
However there seems to be one that always gets their turn holding her.
He even wraps her in his frog blanket, which he loves so much.

Surprise! Its a girl!

Today I (Jeff) get the pleasure of letting the world know we are proud parents of a little baby girl. I'm sure I now have you all sitting on the edge of your seats waiting for all the details that only a highly professional romance novalists could write about; however, remember its me, (jeff) and you'll just have to wait until the glorious day Erin returns.

Today about 5:40 P.M. our little baby girl was born. Yep you probably didn't know; neither did we. Well... we didn't know the gender, I was convinced a boy, the nurse even asked us if she heard right it was a boy.

So not to torment my poor sister-in-law any longer I will make an attempt to post the pictures now.

But first you get to see my darling sons latest thing.

Yep he ties the seatbelt around his head. They say seat-belts save lives. I hope we don't wreck

Gross

a little cleaner
There we go all clean
Check out this hair!
Look daddy's girl already
Look our new family photo.Baby wake up its time to eat!
The baby likes to sleep and not eat. The nurse tried to wake her and everything but like her mother she loves her rest and like her father he can sleep just about anywere.

Come Again?

So I guess this post kinda goes along with the last one... Today in church I heard some things I thought pretty interesting, and of course felt the need to share. (You're all thrilled, right?)

When I was in the library getting some copies and pictures and other materials for my class, some one told me I was going to have a baby (no, are you sure?) She finally knew for sure I was going to because 1. I have a cold and 2. My lips look pregnant (huh?) Now I wasn't in anyway offended by this, but, should I have been? So I continued on to class with my lips tucked in, later looking in the mirror to see what she meant by pregnant lips.

While walking down the hall towards the Relief Society room, one of my good friends (who is also pregnant- due in February) told me that another sister from our Relief Society said something along the following lines to her... "You still have 3 months left? You're huge!" WOW how kind of her to tell her that :)

After church while hunting down Jeff and Kaleb, my husbands cousin comes up and asks "What are you doing here?"
me:"Well I came to brighten my week with some Gospel Power... "
him: "I thought you'd be in the hospital or something"
me: "Yeah, I wish"
him: "When are you due again?"
me: "The 20th"
him" Oh, we'll see you next week then!"

Ha Ha. I sure hope not, but chances are, with my luck, that I will still be around...

Anyway. Just remember to try and consider the mental/emotional fragility of us pregnant people- we probably tend to take things in an opposite way of what you mean when you say it!

I know it is probably hard to believe, but we aren't all as confident in our glamorous selves as Demi :)

Pregnancy Etiquette: Top 10 things not to ask/say/do to a pregnant woman

I saw this on another's blog and thought it was funny, so decided to post it :)

I admit, conversation with a pregnant woman makes for a tricky state of affairs. For some reason, the social norms that usually apply have no bearing anymore for some people. If you are one of these...try to consider the mental/emotional fragility of the audience by avoiding the following:

1. Try not to flatten yourself against the wall when she walks by.
2. As fascinating as it is, do not share your labor story from hell.
3. Don't ask, "are you sure you aren't having twins?" -- hello?!?!
4. As much as you think you know about everything, don't be the pregnancy police. Avoid asking, "should you be eating/drinking/doing that?"
5. Husbands, don't ask "are you really going to eat that whole [insert pie/box of donuts/side of beef]. Don't make a fat joke. Don't make a fat joke. Don't make a fat joke.
6. Don't say, "You look ready to pop, I can't believe you still have [insert timeframe] to go!"
7. For pete's sake, is it really your business to ask "was this planned?"
8. Avoid calling maternity leave "vacation".
9. Try not to make every conversation about pregnancy.
10. Don't make the first thing you say, "how are you feeling?" -- do you really want to know?

Halloween

Kaleb was the cutest pirate you have ever seen for Halloween this year! This costume was decided on last minute, so thanks to my moms help, we were able to get it made in time for the big day! We went to the trunk or treat (I'm not a big fan) Kaleb wasn't too sure about it- there were a lot of people, but after a bit of persuading he got the hang of it.

Trying to run away from everyone

Mom trying to talk him into it
Giving it a try, but still not too sure
Afterwards we went to the Aggie basketball game, and then to my parents house, he had more fun then!

Hitting me with his sword :)
So cute!

We also went up to Adelyn's this weekend for Samantha's birthday and Kadence's blessing. It was a fast, kinda hectic, trip but it was still lots of fun!
