Better than a dead deer

I thought these pics were much more pleasant to look at than the ones previously posted :) There are a lot, more of our Idaho trip- the good parts of it :)

How cute is this?

Jenna and Kadence

Kaleb was changing Barbies Diaper, wipes and all :)
Papa and Jenna
Kaleb just LOVED Kadence, she unfortunately was not
quite as fond of him! But he kept on trying!

Kaleb wouldn't go to bed one night and I couldn't go lay with him because I was feeding Jenna, he went into Emily and Dylans room to get some toys, then turned the light on and was drawing- good thing they are good sleepers!! I love how he has the magnadoodle (sp?) on her bed and Emily is still out of it!

All tuckered out after the long drive home

Not for the faint of heart

I am back (not by popular request unfortunately), I had an experience I couldn't wait for my wife to blog about. This blog could be titled
"Sante Fe vs. Deer"
or
"What do you get when you cross a Sante Fe and a Deer at 85 miles an hour?"

Either way the out come is still the same
Now I'm sure you all want the boring details. I was driving back from Boise following my aggies (ahh story for another time lets just say parking is a joke and that's coming from someone that attends Utah State Basketball). My mother-in-law was SOUND asleep in the passenger seat. This featured event occured while we were driving past snowville. I was driving a little fast following Chris, my brother-in-law, (so I couldn't have been going to fast ;) ) anyway, I notice these beautiful glowing eyes on the side of the road. I thought FILL MY FREEZER WITH CHEAP MEAT, I got good insurance. Okay maybe I didn't, but I shouldn't say what I really thought. I drifted over towards the middle of the 2 lanes but it wasn't enough. My poor mother in law didn't even get to see it, she woke up to a soft crinkling sound. Needless to say she came to pretty quick. I pulled over checked everything out called the insurance company determined the car was drivable and came home. Hopefully Erin will tell you what happens from here. Maybe she will even correct my grammer.

Finally!!!

For 3 years now I have attempted to make homemade bread, and have not been successful. It just never turns out for me for some reason. It is either to doughy, over cooked, I forget about it and it raises too much... I had tried a couple different recipes, and after the last failure I told Jeff 'I quit!' He'd have to just make do with store bought bread from now on. Well after reading Becca's blog and her struggles with bread, I decided to try the recipe that finally worked for her, and it turned out great!! I am so excited to have finally found a recipe that I don't screw up! So here is a photo of my yumminess, pictured with some delicious homemade strawberry jam from yours truly :)

If you'd like to check out the recipe and give it a try yourself, simply click here. Thanks Becca for sharing!

I had set Jenna in this chair while I picked up the living room... Kaleb climbed up, put his arm around her and read No David! to her, such a sweet big brother. Here it is for your viewing pleasure, enjoy!

Kaleb has also begun to choose his own clothing, pick your battles right?
