Happy Birthday Kaleb!

Kaleb's Birthday was on the 4th...crazy that he is two already!!!

He had his 2 year well check onthe 5th he weighs 30.8 lbs. (80%) and is 36 inches (90%).  We also found out he has an ear infection :(  Pretty lucky that it is his first one, but being sick on your birthday is no fun! He has been sick for a little over a week now, hopefully the antibiotics will get him feeling better and he can be a happier boy than what he has been lately :)  He still had a good time at his little party and opening presents though!

Having Fun

Since I haven't updated for a bit I decided to play catch-up.  Here is a little, okay a lot, of what we've been up to lately.

This girl still HATES anything that is not breastmilk!  This is the first time trying cereal, and as you can see by the look on her face, it didn't go over too well!

6 months

Jenna had her 6 month well check yesterday, and is doing great!  She now weighs 16 lbs. 4 oz. (60%) and is 25 3/4 inches long (50%)  Even after her shots she was so happy all day!  I haven't ever seen a happier baby, she is always content, smiling, giggling, and just happy happy happy!  She is getting pretty good at sitting up, and hasrolled over once from her back to her tummy...but doesn't seem to want to do that anymore, she hates being on her tummy :)

Her DR. was pretty impressed that she went from 30% at 4 months to 60% now on just breastmilk, but said we ought to start giving her solids, I have been putting it off-but I guess if I have to.   We have given her (and when I say 'we' I mostly mean other people) samples of a few things but she hasn't been a fan, she makes funny faces, spits it out, and turns her head...so we will see how it goes getting her to eat anything!  She seems to be very picky, she won't take formula at all (can't blame her), she will take breastmilk from a bottle, if I am feeding her and if it hasn't been frozen!  

Jenna has been so much fun, she is growing so fast and learning fun new things all the time. We sure are glad she's ours!
